Hey all!
My mate has a Astra 2.0 16v GSi with diblias throttle bodies its 190 odd brake etc...
hes offered it to me, and said i can have it in couple of months, this suits me fine.
Just wondering how hard will it be to fit?
what you lot reckon its worth? its out of a j reg astra wiv roughly 90k miles.
You lot reckon i should get this or a 2.0 conversion?

i thought you meant he was offering you the engine at first then realised you was being offered the hole car!
i'd personaly get the astra for the simple fact they're not as common as corsas

Do it! Fitting will be easy! Just a swap over with most of the Astra parts, and a few parts from the conversion kit and you got one hella cool Corsa there!!!

Sounds like a good deal mate, and if it is 197bhp then your corsa will be a pretty rapid motor, the LET is 205bhp standard so that pretty respectable

The conversion kit you'd need would be £450, as you don't need the pwercap thingy, unless you get the old fuel injection set up put back on... Then it'd be £500...
I'm putting this one in mine... I got a 1.2 8v at the moment...
