Last march when i got rid of my 2.016v i saw an ad in Motorsport paper. The add said they would supply and fit rwd kit for the corsa b?? does any1 know or have they heard of this because i have a 300BHP engine with no home yet and dont think front wheel drive would cope with the power cos my old one just managed 220BHP without spinning in ultra dry conditions!!
any info greatly appreciated

the hardest part will be to make the drive tunel for it
you may aswell do 4WD if your doing that much work

think this one beats the 300bhp mark (throttle bodys and turbo)

these will also be RWD

this is how you do 4x4 so would be along the same lines
Used 4x4 system from Calibra Turbo.
Increased front track with of corsa so that it is the same as the calibras. (as using calibra driveshafts all round)
Removed steering rack & refitted 30mm higher up bulkhead so as to clear transferbox. Still very tight though.
Fabricated new lower crossmember to accept rear gearbox mount.

Rear- cut original corsa floor pan out to behind front seats. Weld in Calibra floor pan to mount original calibra independant rear suspension & diff. Petrol tank fabricated in boot.

Prop shaft shortened by 180mm. (taken from the the third section of the shaft at the rear diff end).

It is possible to do, but involves a lot of time to make parts, fit them, remove them, modifiy them then refit them etc.

You might gain a little weight but traction would be 100x better in a 4x4

Good luck mounting the engine the other way around, and finding a proper gearbox for it.

At least with 4wd you can use the F28.
