taken from MIG:

Guys and gals,

I pretty much assume that everyone will be attending the show - lol.

I have had a word with a Police officer who works for Northamptonshire, they are fully aware of the show and HAVE PLANNED SPEED TRAPS.

ONE ON THE A45 (which is the dual carrageway leading off the M1 towards Wellinborough. 70MPH

AND ONE IN THE VILLAGE OF IRCHESTER (the last village before pod) You have to watch this one because it comes out of a 60MPH road down to a 30MPH corner where you dont see it to the last minute.

I wouldnt want anyones day to be ruined by getting points or worse, so i thought i would advance warn everyone.

I should be in convoy anyway, but please do take care and enjoy the show!

Actually no i dont.
I was a reckless driver when i first passed my test, made mistakes and paid for them. I have learnt from it now and dont speed hardly ever, maybe 80 on a motorway.... LOL

I just dont see the point to speeding now, and i dont want stone chips on my freshly painted bumper on the way to PVS!!!!!

Northants Police will most likely have the mobile "camera on a bike" positioned to catch people flying round roundabouts along the A43 and A45.

Road Angel won't catch the fcukers on the motorbikes
Not sure if it's laser or just a timed distance between two points, but my Snooper didn't even know he was there and I made a point of sitting in his view for a good few seconds

It's the cheapest model they ever made, actually I don't even think they made it - probably bought them cheap in Taiwan and stuck a Snooper sticker on...

Either way, it normally knows when there's a laser gun about (and traffic lights... oooh it LOVES traffic lights ) and theses mobile cameras did nothing to set it off.
