right well heres the story, ive been with this lass on and off for the last months and been properly going out with her since beginning of April, but it feels like ive known her for years. i really do love her and she feels the same, but here comes the problem now and more in the future, at the moment i live in Lincoln, and she lives in Sheffield, just under two hours away, and i hardley get to see her, as shes got her exams etc and work at night. i usually see her about twice a month if im lucky. we did break up before april as we cudnt bear not seein each other but we decided to give it another go. i saw her today for the first time in a month and i really enjoyed the day, even got a shag off her which im happy about but ive come to realise we are going down the same road before. but on july 9th she goes to spain for 2 weeks, then comes back for two days and goes to devon for a month to work with relatives there. so really im not going to see her for most of the summer. this really gets me down  we have said that if we want to be together then we will be thru and after the summer but i dont think i cud hold out. im tryin to find a new girlfriend here in Lincoln but my current one is perfect, good lookin, funny, kind, loves the exact music i do and makes me smile but also gets me down all the time. what do i do?? try and find a new girl here or try and stick it out.

i don't like bursting other people's bubbles, but in my opinion relationships don't work when there is a long distance involved. my own experience anyway

mate get rid, your too far away. and to be brutally honest, is she gonna stay faithfull? 2weeks in spain, doubt it. then a month working in a "holiday" destination.
mate leave it, and find sumone closer to home.

thing about long distance relationships is you are not always round that person, so you never know what its like to spend long amounts of time with each other.
One lass I was with for a while ended up going to the local uni near me, we split up 3 weeks later cause it was utter gash lol! I felt like a right bastard being the main reason why she moved all the way to hertfordshire, then I was the one who ended it.

My wife has been in Norway all the time I have known her, if you make the effort and talk enough it will work out fine.
She's finished for the next 8 weeks??? now so maybe stay down at yours for a bit so you get some quality time togather

but her mum is really protective of her since she has had problems with her past and she has no ay of gettin down here. tbh i need to find another girl here, when we broke up the first time i broke down and was a mess for about two days then seemed to forget about her but now she has said she loves me and i know how hard it was for her to say it.

This isnt true for all women, there are some honest trustworthy women out there. Im sure some of the girls on here would agree

I know how you feel, my mister (Trotty) lives in Bristol and I live in Rotherham, and although we have only been together 7 weeks, I am totally loved up  luckily I get to see him almost every weekend and we really make the most of the time we have together and have a wicked time but the hard part is not seeing him all week but hey thats what phones and msn were invented for
I am also going away for 2 weeks on Saturday, and admittely it will be hard but I know our relationship is strong enough to last. Is yours?? If you love her that much and she feels the same, see how things go, at least you can say you tried, rather than never know how things would have worked out
