Well took dash out 2day and replaced with new one!
Put all back together and that and connected everything up and put the negative terminal back on the battery, disconnected because of airbag, dash lights came back on, turned the key engine fired then went dead!
Tried starting it again and nothing!
Cant start it now all electrics are fine all in working order, just not one bit of life from the engine not turning over or anything!
And i cant get the key out of the ignition now
PLEASE HELP as until its sorted i aint gonna leave my house area as the car is un locked with key in the ignition!

sounds like an immobiliser problem... maybe, you made doubly sure every connector is re-connected ?

when you try to start it, does the engine light flash quicly?
and as for the key being stuck turn it to where you remove it push it in and pull it
whilst jiggling the steering wheel side to side
is it a spare key or main?

You can have enough charge in the battery so that electrics come on etc, windows work etc, but not enough to start the engine, had this a few times with the Fiesta. So it may be your battery?

if you are in bad mood then it wont work
trust me.
right check all wiring where possible every thing that rellates to the engine etc
unfortuantly i can only suggest that the ignition barrel and or the ignition switch is buggered hence why key aint coming out and why it aint starting
