Fair enough maybe we didn't play well enough to really deserve to win, and to be honest I clapped that Zidane free kick as it was fucking magic!

I still think without those mistakes in the final few minutes (as England ALWAYS manage) we could have held onto that lead by the skin of our teeth

Still I'm kinda glad we didn't win, as the media hype and arrogance of England supporters would have annoyed me... It's given us a kick in the arse and at least now we might knuckle down and take the next games seriously instead of riding on the glory of beating France...

I think Rooney is overrated personally... I know he 'won' us a penalty but he could have easily passed to what was an open goal as Barthez was soooooo out of place

Anyhow no point in over analysing it -- it's sooo easy to spot mistakes when we have a really good viewing angle on it all...

I think Scholes was being quite agressive -- maybe Sven was just protecting him from getting red carded after his first card... who knows...
