To be fair it wasnt just Beckham that missed because of the penalty spot, Costa missed aswell, the ref should have switched ends once both teams were level on penaltes

well you and the ref are the only people that think that. he only just touched him, there were many worse fouls in the game that were not given. the ref dont have a clue...
what about when rooney fucked his leg? he was injured but yet portugal got the free-kick!

Rooney, ahh yes, was wondering when this would come up......he twisted his ankle going for the ball, I don't think anyone should have got a free-kick there, it was a simple 50/50.
And I'm afraid the ref has kinda more say than anyone else, as he makes the decisions on the pitch......so, England are out!

tbh, beckham is a cunt and his career has just gone down hill over the last few months. He is already moving to chelsea from madrid because madrid think he is shit and chelsea are the only people going for him because they have the cash......i think its time that he gets taken off the squad or at worst gets the captain title taken away Plus he isnt like he used to be.
