This morning I got a wierd phone call.

Some asian sounding chap rung "on behalf of Orange" to say I had been selected to be sent a phone and package worth £300 free of charge. He told me about the free minutes and the phone etc. Then asked if he could have my date of birth as proof it was me, then asked for 2 other proof of ID. One had to be something like a passport or driving licence, which he wanted the number off. The other was my bank card details.

Anyone else had this?

The phone call was international too.

i had a manchester call from orange today about a free upgrade, he woke me up, so i hung up on him...

Was it a Motorolla by any chance????

A mate did, they do send you a phone new number but then you are left with two contracts!

my mate got one of these, woke him and sent him a free nokia 3510i u shouldn't of hung up

i'm sure that if you are in the last month of the contract you would usually get a phone call and offered another contract phone.

Last phone call I had from Orange was to say I could pick a handset of my choice for free due to being a loyal customer.

My bills were around £100 a month at the time so I paid more than most handsets are in 1 month Cocks

my mate kirk bought a 206 GT off some asians, they said £6k in cash and he could have it.

So he gave them 4100 in cash for it, they never checked before they handed the keys and the log book over
