i needed some 4mm clips on site and theres a new apprentice whos just started , so i wrote him a list of what we need , which consists of

box of 100 4mm clips (which is all i needed)
3m of flexable falopian tube
box of sky hooks
a glass hammer
and a box of cli- torases.

i had to bite my tongue while he asked for them i aint laughed that much in a long time.

i was going to ask him to get me some chocolate round squares from shop but he looked a bit pissed off

The apprentice of course. If I got given a list like that I'd ask the person if they were taking the fucking piss... Not go up to the counter and ask for whats on it

yeah my mate did this the other day to his, he sent him to the electrical wholesalers for a long stand, and they told him to wait in the corner and they would be with him in a bit.

could always ask for skirting board ladders too

When I was doing school work experience they asked me to go and find the 'sparks for the grinder'

So I went across to McDees for breakfast and had a fag instead

The old ones are the best

We had a real dumb lad working for us a bit back and when we sent him to brew up he came back saying there was no milk. We were working in the middle of a field on a barn conversion so we sent him with a cup to go milk one of the cows

Sparks for the grinder, excellent

When I worked at McDonalds years back we had this new lad start who nobody liked, so we'd send him in the stock room for left handed spatula’s and bags of steam to clean to grills. Daft cnut would go look too! Think he was a bit slow
