i paid about £80-120 for a full set for a 16v from LMF!!!, im sure it was this amount, and LMF are cheapish too

reason why i guessed he meant the valve lifters was that he specified an engine, which would have no bearing on bonnet lifters.

should be just under a ton for the valve lifters anyway.

when ya start ya car the top end is very tappy, its normal for it to be noisey for a few seconds but it should go away, if the tapping noise dont go away ya lifters have had it, i got new ones in mine, its amazing how quiet the engine is, and when reved it sounds dead weird, lol

mine does it then it goes away after bout 30sec idleing, 1.2 8v 1994! but i think i can heard it now when driving , how much to buy them and have them fitted?

Fitting them is piss easy, gettin to them is another thing, on my 16v the cam beltd gotta come off and the cams have to come out, i did mine myself during the re-build, i would say ya looking at £300 fitted on a 16v at a guess

i jus ordered mine now, £122 in VAT. me mate is fittin em for me. the bloak where i ordered em seemed a bit suprised when i said i want 16 cos he said not all of em go at once. but i thought it'd b better to get the lot, u rekon that better?

kool, well i ordered all 16 anyway cos figures they mite go anyway so mite as well get em replaced. cant wait to hear it when its done, its bin ticky for ages now!
