I personally wouldnt bother with 6x9s mate.

Go for a sub in the rear and some decent comps up front.

If you're really desperate to have more sound in the back, get some more comps or coaxials in there.

6x9s are a waste really. Especially if you already have a sub.

i need the boot space unfortunately. Taking out the seats isn't an option either.

I've never seen the point in having 6x9s when you have subs, especially so close to them. You get all the bass you need from the sub and then mids and highs from a good set of comps so you're sorted.

One extra thing to go wrong as well, not that im saying anything will

Summin extra, all you will get from 6x9's is distrotion LOL, unless thats the EXTRA u want....

If you are having 2 15's u wil need~ GOOD comps and a high power quality amp to powr them else they will get drowned out with the bass.
You need to be looking at focal polykevlar or equ=ivalent with a good 150 x 2 RMS amp from a name like audison, diamond, JL etc..

chris, just get a decent sub setup and some mint comps, infinity's if your on the cheap or focals if you got the cash to burn, amp the whole lot and you will have a decent system

what ever you do, dont get 6x9s, unless you want to build boxes for them and get a crossover for them...otherwise it just sounds plain crap - 6x9s are basically a poor mans sub. Also, if you wack them in the parcel shelf with your subs in teh boot, it doesnt do the 6x9s any good, due to lack of air in that small space

first things first though, you need to decide a limit for your whole system and that will determine how many subs you can buy if you want a decent setup etc

your tweeters will come with the comps mate.

In order to save money for the sub and amp, i'd get the Focal Access components.

Not sure on sub and amp because I'm not that experienced with them...not yet anyway

Definitely get Focal comps though mate, you wont be disappointed.

yep thats the stuff. I'm not sure what the story is with their 'slim' range. I think ADISRI is getting the K2 Focal comps (£250 )

CarAudioDirect might be a better place to get some info on them.

no me neither, the K2's are pretty much the flagship speakers from Focal.

Try doing a search on Focal Access speakers. They'll set you back around £110 but they're worth it.

Its nice to set a budget to start off with, but i'll be very impressed if you stick to it, i'm on about 1.5k at the mo and climbing

as said before, decent and sub and decent comps are the way to go. Why do you want 2 15's? the money would be better spent on a single better sub IMO. Just be wary that the price of the amp is normally more than the sub
