not got too far with stripping the head as ive been working 8.30 am till 7pm today. Best get my arse in gear tho, its going for a bit of fettling on friday Cheers to ste for 'helping' and taking random pics, same time tomorrow?

mostly tool mokeh, little bit photographer

had him lookin for a left handed screwdriver for 10 mins

How much did it cost and did they source the engine? I've got £1,500 hard cash. Its either get a 2.0 fitted or get rid.

stubert- yes ive done the head gasket once but i did it on the cheap and didnt get the cyl head skimmed, just got a new gasket and bazed it all together. Doing it proper this time, cars gonna be off the rd for at least 2 weeks

I paid £528 6 months ago to have my head gasket sorted. Expensive job. Also had all new valve stem seals aswell.

Ive paid £31.42 for a top gasket set and a set of cyl head bolts. Doing the rest myself

Currently there are 4 members of staff in the "performance" room. One spends all day on the phone to his ex-wife, another is about 45 and knows fuck all about modified cars, but is really good on speed trap detectors and GPS navigation (we sell about 2 every year) Theres only Me and Steve T actully intrested in modified cars.
