Hi guys, i've been thinking for a while to get black plates with silver writing.
What do you think?
i likethe black as i have a dark car, they'll be the acrylic type and not the old metal ones.
Cheers.

unless your car is reistered before a certain date its illegal to have black plates with silver writing on your car, on the road

They do look quite nice imo... Depends what the police around your area but I think you should be prepared to be stopped for them...
Nice plates to get for show use though...

Think they do use them there, but you can still use them on cars in this country registered before '76 i think it was. Basically for Classic cars where a new style plate would look out of place .
Has anyone got some of those "tinted" plates. there white and Yellow still, but seem like they've got a tint on them. Really like the looks of those . Anyone know where to get them from? .

http://www.fancyplates.com/ Pricey but I wanted some show plates quickly and without the hassle of leaving the house
PS: The background is black, and the text itself is silver... They are not raised like the old style metal pressed plates -- the style I got is 'Ireland Old Style' (slightly smaller)
