they are about the same, the nova has a 1.6 8v engine but lighter and this is how they are about evens

i raced a corsa with a nova gte engine in and i lashed him by a fair bit..... mate with a sport was bout level on speed terms

Not really.

When I took my 1.4 SR engine out of the Nova and when we lifted the X16XE into the back of the van they weighed about the same.

Corsa with GTE engine in? Right thats a worthwhile conversion...not

I don't think you realise how much more Corsas weigh compared with Novas.

Easily, if not more.

Engine bay has'nt got as much strengthing, doors on the Nova weigh next to nothing, boot weighs nothing, wings weigh nothing, the floor is just a thin piece of metal.

basically the nova is a bean tin...I wud rather be slower and safe in the corsa tbh

1050kg no 1der they handle for shit and get shite loadz of body roll on corners

106 GTi's are nice motors but unreliable imo but look good and are nippy
