Who'd be ineterested in a fully fitted weld in cage service from a very good bloke who's been in rally for the past 20years? The cage would be multi-point so everything from the dash back would require stripping i.e carpet, headlining, rear seats and all plastic trim. These cages are for SERIOUS motorsport and would increase shell strength as well as have a massive saftey factor. Prices would start from around £350 fully fitted in workshop just 10/15mins drive outside of Nottingham city centre

Put your name down if you are serious and have the cash...

I want one-when u say dash back - do u mean the dash would need stripping out as well? - or does the cage sit forwards of the dash?

Im assuming it would be a full rollover cage - with diagonal cross member and struts across the doors?

I dont think any dash mods would be needed as it wont be picking up the front turrets. Im not sure if it would be FIA homologated but i'll check... I'll also try and get some pics up asap of an example but as each cage is custom it could be made to your requirements.

Sounds as though you guys want show cages, colour should not be of high importance and when you say finish the interior off, you wont have any interior - it has to be ALL stripped out bar the dash and seats....

No anodising, chroming or polishing available - just painted and yes would most probably be a base/primary colour like white...

These cages would NOT be for show purposes, they are to stiffen your shell and save your life.

If its a multipoint cage then it'll be welded. As for a sunroof, you can either get a proper motorsport blanking plate to seal ot once removed or leave it in but Im not sure you'll get it open.

Out of interest Tomas, whos doing the work?

A guy called Tom Reid who's been into rallying for the past 20 years. He's just bought Keith Pipers old racing corsa and is currently setting it up for road rally.

As Starkie says its multi-point welded and we can work around the fact that you have a sunroof - these are custom cages. But I doubt you will get the thing open as your prob going to be having a cross running across the roof section so might not be able to get to the handle.

I will find out more details off of him and possibly get him to post on here with details.

Anyone wishing to buy a welded in roll cage should email me @ tom.reid7@btopenworld.com
I am able to supply and fit either welded or bolt in cages.
There is a seven week lead time on cages at the moment, I can't get them made fast enough.
I can also offer an engine bay welding service, or anything that involves welding.
I will not entertain a how much for this/that on the forum, only by e-mail.
Prices may vary according to specification of cage, the more you do in stripping out, the less it will cost.

Regards

Tom
