when would u say the speedo for the 1.2 16v is out?

i was apparently doing 105 - 110 down the a64 last nite.

its not out, its just they become inaccurate at high revs

Book figures for the Corsas are very accurate.

106mph is top speed for Corsa C 1.2 16v
98mph is top speed for Corsa C 1.0 12v

i got 120 out of my 1.4 16v sport

(allow for speedo innacuracy)

mine gets to 110mph and i back off, sounds bad......don't think u meant to actually use the top speed too much.

IIRC on motorways there are markers every 100 metres. Count 16 of them at 60mph... should take exactly 1 minute. Any quicker than a minute and your speedo is under reading, any slower and it is over reading.
