Really want to move out and get a place of my own. Thing is I only earn around 16.5k a year and it's obviously impossible to get a mortgage on that alone.

Just split with the fiancee as well so now I've only got my wage to put towards a house/flat

How much do you earn and have you got your own place?

Earn between £900-£1k a month got a mortgage with my old man £250 a month each!

Natalie and I share a mortgage of £156k... £950ish a month between us (split 50/50)

Our house isn't ready yet though... but we expect monthly costs to be £1,600 between us per month

I aint got a chance in MK I could get bout £90K morgage but cheapest houses in half decent areas are like MIN of £140K

Know how you feel mate! Impossible to get a place round here unless your on a joint income of at least £30k. Just find a bird have a couple of kids and the council will sort you out with a 3 bed!

pppffffff england is far too expensive a 3 bedroom de tachted house a minter is bout £60,000 for the same in england it be about £120,000 silly how big the difference is

im hoping to be moving out next year, only renting a flat with a mate possibly two. cant wait finally get out the house. but problem is im not on loads money about £650 a month so im currently lookin for another job.

i would take my car off the road so that would help, as if im living in the middle of lincoln i dont really need it, so the money i save from that i would buy cheap ntl package and broadband
