The highest gear possible and no hard acceleration is the best way to get max mpg, I can get 114 out of £10 if I'm gentle or 70 is not so gentle.

Since my air flow meter has been broken ive had to drive very "conservatively" and hav noticed that my fuel consumtion has gone down quite a lot, this mite also hav something 2 do wit the fact the car is running lean tho!

I got a BFO induction kit on mine 1.2 8v and the fuel consumption is terrible! £10 hardly last any time at all. for some reason if I fill the tank right up for £30 plus it last longer than if I put three £10 in seperatley

well i havent ragged my car at all for the whole week on this tenner.its on 60 miles so far n as soon as the red light comes on thats the time i last put petrol in. so i will wot i get. surely 80 miles on 1.4 sport driving carefully is pretty bad, cud my induction kit be to blame? john
