Well as most of you know i DJ and well into my UK Garage and Rnb etc

In just under 3 weeks time i will be in Ibiza (yep you got it the home of house and trance etc )

Anyway since this i have started getting into Roger Sanchez, Paul Van Dyke, Arman Van Helden, Tiesto etc etc.... Oh my god im actually seriously getting proper into it went out today and spent £200 on trance vinyls to play on me decks haha

The sad and worrying, althought could be good thing is im actually seriously wicked at DJing it as i started the hard way with RnB

Think i might really push it and see if i can get a permanent spot playing it somewhere, Trotty watch out

I shall soon be here, dancing on the Ibiza beach at Bora Bora totally pissed watching the famous sunset go down into the night

It's wicked, as long as you have a decent setup though !

Well obviously its about beat-matching but you have gotta know soooo much more to be good, you can be the next EZ, Carl Cox etc over night !

Whoops just noticed i meant to say you can't be the next Ez etc over night !!

It seriously takes years to get 1/2 decent. If you have rhythm then you have a great advantage straight away, thats why you see many coloured peeps djing as they can dance well and have rhythm naturally (im sure you notice this when your on the dance floor at the clubs)... Thats why people like Tim Westwood get respect in the RnB / Hip Hop world being a "white man with rhythm"

The key is.... Rhythm, time (in many way's like when to bring a tune in / out) speed, skill obviously, then you can go into many other aspects like volume, sharpness, speed etc

You'll have a good time it's a great island. Loads of great club night, nice bars and stuff. And there's a few nice beachs to chill out on in the day although San An beach isn't the best beach but it better this year than last year. Loved the sunset outsite Mambo/Cafe del Mar. Here's a couple of sunset pix I got this year..

If you going out to get drunk have a few before you go out or go down the west end for a few drinks as once your in some of the trendy bars (Bar-M, Coastline, etc) and then the big clubs (Amnessia, Privelege, etc) drink prices can take the piss a bit - it's well expensive in there. It's like 8euros for a bottle of water in clubs!! So don't ask for a double vodka + red bull as your talking over 20something euros.
Loads of places to eat, we went to quite a few different places for food and where all good to be honest even went for a chinese one night which was 9,50euros for a 3 course meal inc. a drink which was a bargin!

Are you staying in San An? We where in San An Bay this year.

9,50euros is around £6/7 I think. It's about 70p to 1euro I think. Was budgeting at around 100 euros a day ish give or take. I spent around £500 in one week and that was just me. As its you and your other half I'd take a little bit more.
