ive got a Nokia 6230.... excellent phone

ive got USB to connect to my PC and i can do everything except remove or change the operator logo??? how can i do this??

the opertaor loko is a file that needs replacing on the phone ,

yes i know but how do i do that???
when i go to the option to change it on my phone i cant choose it because it not highlighted, it says i havnt got any operator logos in memory? so how do i put them in through using my USB cable??

Have u tryed going onto sites that have operator logos? See if it says anything there

u got the logos on ur fone? they not in a folder?

mind my old 7210 was like that,
iv removed my operator logo so it only shows the wallpaper

you need to download a blank operator logo to replace the one you have now.

you cant actually remove the operator logo but can use a blank one to take the original away if you see what i mean

When i had my 7650 i had this program what showed you ur phones memory and i had the option to change the logo to anything ..

Cant remember wat the software was tho

Not on a 6230... You can use multiple .gif files, which get listed in the settings menu - dunno how to upload them though

i got pc suite 5.8, and i dont think i can upload logos with it?

well its first program ive used... in fact its the first phone ive ever connected to my pc!! and PC suite5.8 is what came with it and it seems pretty good, it does just about everything i could need, transfer files, mp3's, pics, data etc all EXCEPT operator logos!!

infact! i had a bit of trouble getting my pc connected to my phone!!
and a lot of people have this problem!

i cant rememebr exactly what i did! but i downloaded some files and i didnt use PC suite that came with the phone but a version i downloaded of the net its same as the one with the phone apparently but not too sure!

i just turn the infrared on and the laptop picks it up and uses xp software to transfer mp3's, nokia suite is shite.
