what power do teh 106's come at standard?

106 GTi is 120 bhp, 0-60 7.4, 0-100 20-21ish. 128 mph top end. Handling is also top notch

Also very tunable, respond very well to basic mods. Steve/sootys car is around 150bhp from exhaust,decat,filter,manifold and chip i believe

Then again 2.0 16v corsa will be quicker in a straight line as standard, and will only cost £1500 for conversion and a bit extra for brakes, suspension and bits

yesh you are correct.... runs with XE corsa's

mine was 134bhp standard which I have the RR graph for

how much shud i look at for a 2nd hand one?? one with a slightly more modern interior if there are 2 types?

xe the corsa and spend some decent money on coilovers, bushes, strut braces etc, and there will be nothing in it on corners.

Dunno whether the ones i've seen had had poor drivers in them but there's never been anything in it on corners

Meat pie... probably... my old gti on bilstiens would fucking hammer any corsa on corners, ride was very harsh though

well I just sold my 140bhp one for 2900 with 70k on P (see garage for pics)

leather nice.... prefer cloth though... more grip when hard cornering (yes you will be doing alot of this)

you get alot of car for 5k mate... rear disc's, full electrics, leather, alarm, mint handling.. very tunable... 4 airbags etc... much more desirable
