Will getting higher poundage springs reduce the bodyroll, and lessen the amount of suspension travel? At the moment i get rubbing at the back with rear passengers as the springs compress a lot with weight in the back.
Will harder higher poundage springs solve this?
Wheres a good place to get these from and wat would i look to pay?

They do them for FK Highsports do they? Or do the springs just need to be right diameter/ length?
Also does anyone know what the poundage is of the springs that come with corsa Highsports?

Konig's are harder as standard compared to Highsports.
Highsports are aimed at everyone from the family driver to the casual fast road driver.
Hardcore slags should go for Konigsports.

so can i improve the highsports for my needs with harder springs?
Also could i use Koni yellow adjustible shocks on the rear instead of the ones FK supply?

Yeah damping adjustable will do nothing for the poundage of the springs. Course you can change the springs - harder ones will indeed reduce body roll and mean increased forces for similar travel which sounds ideal in your case. You should also be able to change the bumpstops.
For a custom setup first job is to completly remove the springs and fit coilovers back on with no springs - this will determine where the car bottoms out. If the car sits ON its arches in this case you'll want bigger bumpstops until your happy the wheels CANNOT foul the bodywork even when bottomed out. Next step is to choose a spring rate suitable for you. The aim is to not let the car sit on its bumpstops in the bumps - this usually means harder springs if you are lowered but you want the softest you can get away with to aid handling and comfort.
Choosing poundage all depends on the size of engine and install AND how low you are. A lot of the time its trial and error but as a gauge its common to use 300lb in the front for the Valver lumps and 325lb for the LET boys. Rear is not talked about so much. Its VITAL that you dont go too hard on the rear as oversteer will occur and although its fun at times it can catch you by supprise and its hard to control. Best bet is to contact the main FK importers and ask them what lb they are and choose one harder.
When you talk about the FK REARS - are they a pigtail spring with coilover style platform? In which case custom springs would have to be made by someone like coilspring.co.uk if they are a regular stle coilspring then you just have to work out what internal diameter and length you have and work from there - Rally Design have a good range at good prices - www.raldes.co.uk.

yeah the rubbing isnt due to the travel being to far i.re. the tyre hitting the top, its the wheel scubing on the outer arch still...
Also i really wanna stop the car from feeling wallowy which it does to me at the mo.
Hows yours siberia? The highsports are ideal at the mo for comfort, but i want a more racy feel...

The rears are pigtails on a adjuster tube matey.
im using a 1.4 16v atm but am considering a change to C20XE.
I want to be able to set the front and rear of the car low without it fouling. ATM my car fouls when the wehels are not that far up in the arch, id like it to sit lower than the point at which it fouls, so bumpstops arent going to help me.
Ill have to contact FK and see wat poundage the std springs are, or maybe just sell my highsports and get a set of konigsports...

i only finally got all the problems i had with the front sorted out last friday.
the car handles brilliantly now... ya can throw it into bents and its very predictable (famous last words )
but feck me the ride is very very harsh........ i was only questionin WTF i have such hard suspesion on bumpy irish roads last night but sure i want them and i can live with......
the first thing i notice when i get into someone elses car is the felling of walloing around... and the first thing everyone says when they get in mine is " is the feckin suspension broke in this"

Adi,
You'd be better off with a custom non adjustable spring. Stick with the FK Koni rear though.
On the fronts, any FK dealer can supply a higher poundage main spring. If you speak to Gwent VW, ask for Shak as he's aware of the 'uprated' spring.

A lot of people run without an ARB and just control body roll with the spring rate.
I'm lazy and will stick with my ARB until I realise it really is shite and copy everyone else.
