Focal speakers sound amazing,
When i first listened to them in the shop i put in a CD i listen to alot,
The only way i can express how good they are is that i could hear things in the song i had never heard before,
They are so smooth but at times when needed can eb bright too,
I love them and cant wait for them to be installed.

Utopia are the best, then polykevlar, then polyglass then Access.

If you are going for the access range then I wouldn't worry about having focals. Other brands sound just as good. The difference between the polyglass and access is massive. I listened to both, intending to spend £130 on the access ones and then couldn't do it. Had to have the polyglass.
The difference between polyglass and polykevlar isn't as dramatic.

oh, you need to spend some money on a headunit as swell or its a waste of money. A £200 kenny piece of shit doesn't really cut it.

I have Focal Comp's and a Focal 11" Sub with an Audison Monoblock and it is VERY clear and more than loud enough.
Great speakers

focal also produce studio monitors (which im looking at buying) which are ment to be the bollocks - then again at 1500 a pair, they bloody should be
back on topic, aye focals are good...but you will need to get a decent amp (JL, DLS, Sinfoni etc) to get the best out of them, especially since there like 6ohms (instead of the usual 4ohms etc).
But if you have only got 100 odd quid to spend then look at infinity's and again get a decent amp (PG etc) and it will sound pretty good

im running Focal 165KF's a hybrid set and they are good. Being powered by a audison Lrx 2.500.
Well worth the money, but im not sure that the access jobbies are as good.
