Form a small amount of digging on the Net

ASDA - Unknown but not Esso maybe be BP
Tesco - Unknown but not Esso maybe be BP
Morrisons - Suspect Texaco (stock havoline oil)
Safeway's - might be Esso but there are Safeway small stores at BP stations
Sainsbury's - BP

so assuming UL is normal 95ron - is the 97ron BP ultimate ? If so it's 2p cheaper than the BP station down the road

No, you will find that you are buying premium unleaded which is 95 RON, the Super UL is 97 RON. Read what it says on the pump next time....

You know nothing - all you have said is that it might be supplied by one oil company, or that you suspect it to be supplied by another.

In fact, you know Jack. He is your bestest friend.

Tesco are Esso, used to be BP tho.

I used to work there. Hence Tesco Express stores are Esso garages.

I use it all the time as well as BP, Shell etc and have noticed no difference at all those who say they do are prolly talkin shite, except if its a Jap car etc which use high performance fuel. If it was bad for some cars then they wouldnt be allowed to sell it

nismo, why dont you get your car setup for normal unleaded? would save you loads on the odd mulla

tbh though, who cares...fuel is fuel and i doubt there is much difference (or any mega noticable performance) between the expensive shite BP and Shell market with flashy ad campaigns and you local fuel station. Most of it is down to how BP and Shell market their fuel, and people say "oh my car is alot faster and pulls better etc etc", but unless the car is setup for that fuel then its all in your head

start pumping in 110+ racing fuel, then you will notice a difference, but then again you need to get your car setup to get a mega noticable gains
