Yesterday, in Chesterfield, I totally screwed up last night, tried draging a clio being driven by a chav onto the roundabout next to kwik-fit and domino's, when I lost all power, it felt like the clutch or clutch cable had gone at first but it sounded like I had a blow out on the front left tyre. So here I was, stranded, been thrashed by a chav in a old-skool clio and fcuked my car up. I phoned vauxhall assistance, but apparently, the cover hadn't been renewed when I bought the car from Dixons, who had allready screwed me about before.

So, does anyone know where I can get a CV joint for my 2001 Corsa C, 1.0? And how much will it cost? Or will it be covered under warrenty? Please help, I need the car for next weekend!

how did you manage that in a 1.0?

If there anything like a corsa b, will be a peice of p*ss to change the driveshaft - you just get the whole lot from a scrappy probably £5-10 something daft like that

oh cool, I dunno how it happened, But it has been driven hard for the past month or so, didn't really expect that to go though, I thought the brakes would need replacing before a frickin driveshaft!

i was racing someone in a 1.0 because he was a chav and was reving his engine at the roundabout so I wanted to cain his ass on the roundabout, but I couldnt.

Will it be covered in the warrenty?

it should be yes. Warranty is 3 years so you should be ok if you take it in soon.

Like Adam said, I wasn't aware that you could put that much stress on a CV joint from driving a 1.0 litre (even if you are driving like a nutter).

You sound like a chav.

How the hell you broke a CV joint in a 1.0 is beyond me

You must hit kerbs on a regular basis.

Yes, I'm sure when the Queen gets her new limo, the driver takes that out in the courtyard and skids round with it

If you wanna know your cars limits, take it on a track, tho its hardly worthwhile with a 1.0l
