a fatter front anti roll bar will increase understeer so you'll need an aftermarket rear bar to balance it out as the rear increases oversteer
AFAIK no corsa came with rear anti roll bars

all of you are wrong.
1. diesels dont come with a front atb atall and they come with the smallest rear one you can get.
2. every corsa came with a rear atb except the 1.2 8v.
3. the thickest ones available from the factory came on the late 1.6 sports.

Could you get a rear anti roll bar on a 1.2 8v if you were to upgrade the front one?

Cool, another question Would there be any point in getting branded anti roll bars or would a set stolen off of a Sport or GSi do - the cars going to be mine with a set of high quality coilovers and probably front and rear strut braces - with a 2.0 16v of course Thanks....

the big antiroll bars will almost eliminate all the understeering from your car , no matter what coilover or springs you use. I should know because I've made all those suspension changes including Eibach upgrade antiroll bars.
I think whitekine make a set of them, and eibach ae no longer available, Demon Tweeks sell Whyteline stuff. You will get almost no bodyroll at all

Change both things. The difference is amazing
With black Bilstein dampers the setup is comfortable. With Konis and Eibach springs the ride is too stiff. That's the reason why I'm investigating Whiteline springs and getting my Konis revalved

My car handles better without an anti roll bar. Im running Grp A tarmac spec Harry Hockley coilovers upfront with 40mm Bilstein inserts and 300lb springs lowered 40mm....
Rear 60mm spax springs with spax RSX adjustable dampers and its the best setup ive EVER had and ive had many on my Corsa.

no they wont be stiff, only stiff with koni dampers. the springs are very comfy! cars wuth coil overs are recomended to remove the anti roll bors, least on a corsa they are...........

Tomas:
And the understeer?
And what about the ride?
Is it too stiff?

coilovers allow the user to adjust the ride height and the spring hugs the damper uni, normal suspenion allows no adjustment in height.

yer gonna have to comprimise dude......
corsa's have to be one of the worst handling cars ever on standard suspension (well mine was anyways)
get some sort of matched springs and shock kit... but in doing so yer gonna be tightning up the suspension thus making the ride harsher.
just fitting an anti roll bar although being a good modification wont make alot of difference
i have coilovers and the handling is absoulultly superb after ALOT of thinkering with them... but they are very very harsh but i can live with that.
