nothing will happen m8, the car wont die or anything (aslong as the oil level is kept at a good level)

It will however over time start leaving deposits around your engine and generally do a poor job at keeping things clean and lubricated so ideally you should change your oil as soon as possible. I should think ideally engine oil needs to be changed every 5k-7k at least.

Did 10k in my car then noticed my oil light kept flashing. Checked oil level and had about 2mm showing on the dipstick.

Topped it back up to the maximum level - a month (1000 miles) later and it is back down below the mimimum level again.

Car getting serviced on Wednesday though so i'll see what it's like after then..

Take it to ATS they'll do it while you wait for about a tenner.

Check the level in the very least.

pug nut who are you laffing at you muppet.

my mate works at ATS and another works at national tyres, well he's the manager.

so it probs will cost me just the price of the oil. i'll do it next weekend

went the petrol station before and went to pump up my front tyres, should be 44psi. when i put the machine thing onto the valve, it was only 24psi on one side and 27psi on the other, maybe this is why i have no grip going round corners or off the start lol.
