after having an Fiesta RS1800 that i just went beserk on with engine mods, then it going and me sharing the missis's R plate 1.0 12v corsa, i finally got my hands on one of these 1.4 16v twinport corsa c exclusiv's and i have to say i'm impressed
the amount of extra's you get is OTT!!!!!

so any more members on here have one - and where are you living/driving it?

also just wondered if anyone else noticed they seem very light in the wet? at only a few revs, i was wheelspinning off the blocks at traffic light

May I suggest you invest in some new tyres?

How the fuck am I a retard?

Not saying the tyres are knackered, just know that Vauxhall put shite tyres on as standard!

Go for some Goodyear F1's or Toyo Proxes if you want better wet traction!

If that is how people feel then they need to put up with bad traction.

Nuff said.

firstly nismo he kind of has a point, the tyres are shite as standad, and i can defently see the logic in putting new tyres on,

No need to be a cunt to patrick nismo is there? I think it was a logical reply.

however i have Toyos on my car, and still in the wet it just spins,

both the 1.2 and the 1.8,

There is just not enough weight at the front, thus it spins easy and looses traction...

I dont think any tyre would change this unless it was 10" wide

Can't see putting 'better' tyres on a standard 1.4 will make any difference anyway, hasn't exactly got mega power spinning the front wheels. As Nath says it's more likely the greasy road conditions at this time of year, can get my Evo to spin in 2nd gear at the moment go figure..

LMFAO!!!!!!!

so one owner and myself plus a rant regarding tyres!!!!! lol
the grips on the tyres look fine to me - aint sure of the make and model of em but these are 16" remember and the 195/45 rubber on em should be racing standard - so i'm thinking i just need to find an 18st lad to fit under my bonnet!!!

Must just be me then. If your on about the Dunlop SP9000's, i'm more than happy with mine. Was surprised how much difference bumping up the pressures made (even just a couple of PSi), but on a whole i think there not a bad tyre .
