Has anyone on here been insured when they were 19 on a 2.0 Corsa (let / Xe ) with / without Turbo. Also did you have kit ? (declared). How much was you paying?


(Yes i know its diffrent for areas etc and what eva else). Also have looked about not alot regardign with kits and 19 yrs of age.

£1800 @ 19 with 1yr no claims, full kit, wheels etc all declared, cat 1 clifford alarm

corsaandy and t-hgangstar, what engines you got? xe or let?

i hopefully will have 1 year no claims driving 2 years, one accident, recon i could get insured for under 2grnad on a xe?

hmmm, well im paying about 1500 for 1.2 all kit / mods decalred tpff . So may look into it more and get it done when i turn 19 not to long

norwich union (with pass plus). just rung them to ask about 2.0. They went we wont touch engine converted cars.

not that many companies will insure under 21s on 2 litres, let along conversions. HIC and flux seem to be the two main ones to try, but def shop around.

Tis an arse when i was lookin for insurnace on my 1.2 16v no1 would quote me less than 2k! no claims pass plus fook all mods i just dnt understand it!

I started telling them mine was from a Cav GL, but she wasn't interested... so I owned up and told her it was really from a Calibra.

19 now paying £600 under dad as flux were wankers as hadnt been in the uk for the last 6 months!
But they quoted me £1100 tpft and £1580 fc thats with 0 ncb as well and im in essex as well
