i know people are getting bored of repetitive threads about the same thing over n over again, well i get bored of reading the same thing over and over again, been doing alot of research on these and ive decided to get one. but the £150 for fitting seems a bit steep. i was wondering if anyone has bought one recently and had it fitted elsewhere? and did the kit have all the fittings ie gaskets, all joints etc etc.

Get the inlet from something else and adapt the plenum to bolt on, cant be hard surely

SRi-Co... I was looking at the inlet for the C16SE on the Nova, thinking about having a go at adapting one of those to bolt onto the X16XE inlet manifold & then just modify it further to fit...
but probs never gona work

hmmm 20ne may be too big - but you never know

that will make a racket sheet metal aint exactly thick or good at noise shielding
thing you gota consider is flow charectoristics(sp), if its not balanced well, there will be alot of turbulence going though the ports & so not create as good a gain, possibly even affect it!
one reason the mantzel was sooo damn good, as it was designed to flow well & not just be a box

You'd want to use a c/e16/14SE maniofld then get yoru hands on a vectra lower manifold) and then cut the base off the SE manifold and weld it on, then TB would fit, you have the MAP line ready and the vacum take off to. I've been looking at this just haven't bothered to get it all welded up.

so whats special about the veccy lower manifold i was thinking more adapt the the plenum from the c14se manifold to bolt on
