I am looking to buy a bolt on air filter for my Corsa, but I cant find one!! I tried all the popular makes, K&N, Greenstuf, etc etc.
Does anyone know where I can get one? I have been told that I may be able to 'make' a Nova K&N Bolt On fit, but I'd rather not do that...
Thanks
PS its a 1996 Corsa B

drill your airbox and put a K&N filter element in it

Bolt on... you mean go over the inlet??
guessing then you either have a 1ltr, 1.2 or 1.4 8v with the black box in the middle??
tbh just do like corsa_boy69 says, would be better & if you did do a bolt-on, i reckon it would look crap & also affect the performance quite a bit

Thanks. Drilling the airbox...literally take a drill to it and drill loadsa holes? How many are we talking here? I.E 1 hole every few inches?
How much performance would I gain from that, obviously not expecting stupid bhp gains but it should make it a bit 'perkier', yes?
Its a 1.2 8v with twin exit on the left.
And Yes, I meant bolt on as in over the inlet.
Also, if I drilled the airbox...would it pay to get a spare one for time like MOT, etc? Or dont they care?
Thanks peeps

underside of the airbox on the left if facing the car is a small panel which unclips - its like a baffle-thing, quietens the engine down - remove that & will be just as good as drilling
and no, you wont need another box for MOT time

you'll probably see about 0.000001bhp improvement tbh on the 1.2...
but it 'might' help throttle response slightly

Yeah, I knew I wasnt gonna see much improvement. I think i'm gonna go with removing that baffle, and then see what diff it makes before drilling the airbox.
Thanks all

Yeah, the reason I even started thinking about this is that I have a flat spot in first...really annoying.

No you eedjit - cotton gauze filters clog up too quickly. You might as well use a piece of cardboard as a filter.
Fit a decent foam filter instead.

I am back, abuse has started - not just K&N tbh, all cotton-gauze filters are culprits

Just outta curiosity, what would be the best mod to get for this corsa? Nothing will make a decent bhp gain I know but...what would you choose if u had to choose one thing?

Its already been lowered 35mm, full bodykit, zorst, 17" Alloys, tints, M3 Mirrors, etc etc. Exterior looks bling but the engine is slow as camels. I should have said 'Engine Mods'...
