Went to the Mig meet over the weekend and me and my mate went, me in my V6 him in his 2lt 16v corsa (Spec to follow). we where sat at traffic lights ready to go onto a Single slip road onto Motorway, hes infront.
lights went on green and so we both set off hell for leather (first time and have really given it 100%) and from 0-60 (on the sliproad as i could not overtake as no room) i kept having to back off and ease off the throttle (as we wasent side by side couldent really tell how much of a differance they would of been but i was slowing down a few time in the short distance to 60).
we came onto a empty motorway and we was doing about 70mph an we both pulled onto the motorway an i was off, left him for dead.
slowed down for him (as dident know where we was going) an pulled in behind, then we went for it again, i could hear him in 5th at full revs (as you could tell my the zorst note and he also told me later he was going for it) and i was still in 4th up his arse backing off the pulling back up his arse backing off
the best and funnest thing was when a car slowed him down (cos was in the way on fast lane) they would move out of the way an he would drop it down the 4th to get back up the power, and i was dropping down the 3rd

i will get him out again soon as he has a digi video cam and will make some movies so people can see how much fast/powerful the V6 is comapered to the 2lt 16v

2lt 16v corsa
Brand new engine from Vauxhall
Pipercross Air filter
Full Powerflow zorst (Manifold back)
Kent Cams
Uprater Ver's pulleys
FSE Fuel reg thing
Stripped out (2 buckets)

corsa wasn't made for going fast round corners anyway, so i'll reckon it'll be as good as any other corsa

Traction is awsome mate, it digs in a graps like a cunt, massive wide wheels, heavy engine to keep them down, seams to working really well.

Mig meet was a Winick Quay ye, V6 astra wasent there, not many showed up
