They try too hard with the "modified" look. If people wanted a modified car, they'd do their own, not buy an off the shelf monstrosity.

I think MG/Rover are doing pretty well for themselves. And those times are bloody good.

The new V8 seems to be lacking though.

What you've got to remember though is that this car only has a 1.8 16v engine and is putting out 180bhp plus its on par performance wise with a CTR with a 2ltr 197bhp engine

They have reported that unless the British goverment does not "help them out" by april they may be going into receivership

I hope not as I live just around the corner from longbridge were they are made. It will have a massive impact on the local comunity. However they can not keep pushing out revamps of old designs.

There is talk of a major asia company buying a percentage share but I doubt it. Shame

They hanlde so well too.

My dad had a 200Vi and that thing fucking shifted! Would keep up with VTS's and 106GTi's, not that it was my dad who discovered that Also handled very well. Felt very stable whilst cornering.

er, where idd it say the zr-x was going to be a 1.8..

it was a 2.0 turbo that was in the pipeline for that model.

only thing the mgs have going for them are their handling. ,my old one after lowering stuck to the gorund like glue.
