was a pretty good day wasnt that cold to be honest either.. was only about 40-50 cars there but it meant everyone got a fair amount of goes on the 1/4 Mile..
It was pretty wet to start off with and nobody was gettin any grip but it dried out about 1pm and the times starte to freefall.. the Wallace performance 300ZX ended up running in the 13s and a Sierra Sapphire ran a 13.058 but told it ran 12.5 later on but was the fastest car there all day
Jonnys C2 ran a 16.7 but can run alot better
Martin ran some decent times think he ended up with a 15.2 (not 100% sure)
Aj'scorsa ran a 17.2 in his 1.6 16v Astra and had a time of 15.5 on his sheet (not bad for a standard astra  )

Dont think i seen one single car there that was absolutely spotless. but hey it was all good fun and some great times posted by all especially in the wet!
and for all the photogrphers out there.. i dont give a shit what you say about the pics as it was all just a bit of fun i aint no keen photographer and never will be

Davies wee 106 is seriously quick though, has a late model vts lump with all sorts doen to it, ran about 160bhp on ecosses rollers, has a v short ratio box as well, so it may have ran a 13.8

He did do a 13.8 Budgey he has a VTS engine in it as said it's got 160bhp and is fooking quick!!
the Surprise of the Day was me Gettin AJ's time sheet to find out he Had done 15.515 Seconds at 92mph.... I thought they'd got their wires crossed and got the details from the police when he got caught speeding but it doesnt show up on the Site...

well someone cant read the time right off the display at the start of the strip cos i was in Jonny's C2 when he ran the "13.8" when i got out i got told it ran a 13.8

As i say... Crail's timing system.
I have slips for a 16.1 in a std VTR, and a 16.6 in a 2ltr 8v corsa. Raced on same day, same conditions, corsa would tear the doors off the saxo.

Yes... but this one did run low 15's that day. And it certainly quicker than a VTR. My point exactly,.. the timings shite.
