A backstreet garage may not want to take this on!

There's quite a lot of labour involved in an engine-swap, and moreso when not the same engine.

Anywhere from £350 - £2500 depending on a few major factors!

£100!

How much does this place do a service for, a fiver?

Sorry mate but £100 I think not... As CRB says get Lee to do it, the man knows his shit and has several satisfied customers. £350 is a bloody good price.

You could always go to someone like Courtenay and get charged about £2000 for the same job, and probably not as good a job as Lee would do...

Anyway whats the point in putting a 1.6 in? Would u not rather spend a wee bit more and put a 2.0 in?
