I noticed the cricketers wearing black arm bands and didn't know why. Then put Sky News on and saw it. Terrible shit. As you look at a map you can see where the quake was. The waves even hit Somalia in Africa

yeah thats what we thought untill we watched the news and seem the tsunami wave crashing into Tawain south cost, 4 Brits are dead from Thailand, and 1000 other people from Thailand.

ahh that would explain it m8 - tsunami will have wiped most communications out though m8 - so am guessing that's why u won't have heard from them ....

Watching all the footage of it happening was shocking........ and its sadly not the last we will hear of somit like this happening its only going to get worse...... hearts go out to the familys who lost loved ones its a damn shame

Sorry to dig this one out.

Cant believe how long ago it was now, when I was in Thailand I went to a lot of the places that were affected, its amazing how they got things back together. I made friends with quite a few of the Thai people that lost friends / relatives, especially the people that worked on the beaches renting parasols etc...
