and not used, what little things can i do to help it start? i did try starting it recently but the battery was quite flat & soon died

now got a fully charged battery to jump start it

other than maybe abit of WD40 on the leads, what other little things can i do? I dont want to flatten the battery again by turning it over & over

Hoping to get it MOT'd very soon, possibly tomorrow if all goes to plan

A good battery should be ok.
My brothers cav was stood for a month or so and it started first time. Just make sure the brakes are not stuck on.

I started Mums C3 after 5 weeks and started 1st time. Run fine too apart from the brakes being a little rusty.

Don't think she will agree to that cos she want's to spend it

I'm working on getting that car off her. It's like new apart from not being washed in around 18 months.

well it wont fookin start

i dont get it. the car used to start really well & now its not even trying.

doesn't help that there is a total mess of wiring under the bonnet & the battery looks like spaghetti junction we tried disconnecting the power cap as we thought this might be draining battery power & then the alarm wouldn't switch off re-connected it & the alarm fob worked again

totally fed up

Kick it. Worked on the Paxo this morning The bitch started first time, reversed it off the drive, closed the gates and as i got back it it just died. Then it wouldn't start again so i got out and kicked it in the front bumper whilst checking the starter motor (i need a new one and spark plugs) and then it worked
