Author lexus lights, anyone had problems?

fitted new lexus lights before from halfrauds. i fitted them how it said, easy. did they work, no. every time i pressed the brake pedal, the light on my button for hazards came on, but no brake light, and i could only use my indicators when my brake was pressed down. takin them back tomorrow anyways. gash lights?...or shit job? cheers, pete

shit job i feel, you definatley put the correct bulbs in ie twin filament in the brake light bulb holder?

i did somthing like this, except when i braked my reverse light came on and blinded every fucker behind me sorted now though

yeah, used right bulbs. i habe changed them back now anyway, but my indicators dont work!

sounds like you probably put the wrong bulbs in.

It'll be the wiring looms supplied with the lights - loads of them have this problem.
Get Halfords to replace the wiring or if you want, you could ask for a refund, but seeing as you've only just chosen the lights you probably want to keep em

Luckily mine worked first time, every time although when I've been swapping them over, I've always kept the same looms.

i got mine off the wonder called ebay, much mcuh cheaper and were fine and sooo easy to put in worked first tyme

You're confusing Lexus lights with those gash 3d ones some people buy.

Lexus lights are only 50% barry. I am happy with 50%.

I never said lexus lights look silly. I said standard ones look nice.

I sold the 3D lights for more than I bought them for, so everyones happy

the 3d ones look good, but only on certain colours, i have them and think they suit the car, they look good on blue and red cars all others i dont think they look as good and would b better off gettin tinted lights

i admit the clear and smoked lights look good bu i think the blue tinted ones look soo cheap and nasty, the original lexus lights looked shit

they look good on mine , i had this problem and was sorted with putting a twin fillermint bulb in the brake light like MattB said.
