We have a dart board in my uni flat. Me and my mates have a competition of Round the board, Killer and if we can be bothered 301 / 501 most nights. Usually means my work doesn't get done though

and if we're in a stupid mood, we play underarm killer (not easy lol)

they have two different championships like rugby union and rugby league. same game different rules. although i think the two darts championships are the same rules aswell. thats why they had that big match at chribo between phil taylor and andy fordham(sp) because they will never play each other in the league as they are in different championships

dead complicated for no reason really

Phil Taylor is the best achieving sportsman out of the UK for what he's done, 12 world titles (10 PDC and 2 BDO) he's won a fortune, although he's not the fittest bloke ever, he's more in his sport than any other individual has in their sports, I play in the PDC with Phil Taylor and the other top players, some of the BDO players often enter our tournaments and register with the PDC, but when the top players split from the BDO and formed the PDC in 93/94 the BDO was left with dross like what you see on BBC2.

Darts players have to be fat as it helps them balance their 'Lean', if they didnt have a big belly to pull them forwards they would topple back and wouldnt be able to perfect the 'lean'. Hence why all good darts players are fat
Thats my theory anyhow

dont they lean forwards tho so surely a bigger belly would pull them over?

They counteract the belly pulling them foward with their feet rooting them to the floor, there is a fine balance. If they didnt have a belly then would not be able to sustain the 'lean'.

If your looking at buying your first set of darts go to the pub and use other peoples darts and see what you play like and if you like a set then buy soming very simular!
