This basterd hoses has popped off my intercooler



Shall fix it tonight and see how it goes

yep maybe worth getting some good hoses, lots of hoses collapse on boost loosing power and spiking

Good learning curve tho

Measure up lengths and bore and get some good silicon hose's - doesnt need to be samco there just the expensive 'prada' of hoses

Oh and stronger clips too - ask AK where he buys his

get decent hose clips
mikalor or somthing try demon tweeks they have some good ones

iirc shinne does LET hoses, im not sure if there for a LET corsa but worth enquiring

Get metal pipes made up for the i/c mate. Lee has the number for a place near me that does them, they did his fuel pipe bit.

Nah, ive got silicone hose, but go for metal ones mate, as theyre stronger. Only about £50 aswell i reckon.

Lee put that turbo bit on when the engine went in, why dya ask? you not got one?

got my head back on today,
just gotta spens a couple of hours next saturday putting the hoses back on, connecting up the last few bits (dizzy, alternator.....)

out to a vodka bar on sat night too, so pending how well the car is running, and how well my body is running on sunday, i'll be there.
hope i can make it though, cos i'm dead keen.

yeah well mines been an arsehole recently too so well looking forwards to getting it back up the pod

i'm out on the sauce on sat too but wont go nuts as i really want to be there as i think there is a meet somwhere in northapton afterwards too...pull jambo along too

well its running but it smells more of petrol in the car than outside and it burnt a quarter of tank of petrol sitting on lees drive so no not yet....

needs a new loom i think as the other one decided to short itself out Lees on the case and i am pretty sure it'll all be gravey for sunday
