how is the 1.6 16v engine pish u can tune these to over 200bhp.
ive tuned mine to 145 bhp for under £1000.

and how is a 2.0 corsa "not amazingly rapid" 0-60 in 6.5 secs is rapid.

145bhp for £1000 yet you will have no tourqe for an extra £500 ya could have 155bhp with loads of tourqe the 2litre suprise factor, 2 litre is the best basis to start tuning, anything below is a waste of time i think

im sorry, a 106 gti running just under 150 bhp would still struggle against a 2.0 corsa. the corsa would have LOADS more tourque. although the 106 would beat it off the line.

no because ya using 2lire running gear, so everything is aright, if the converison is done properly the engine and service life will not alter at all from standard, apart from the temptation to rag the tits of it of course

yes they are evenly matched, mine got off the line quicker, corsa pulled it back a bit but still not enough time to fully go past me, and i beat him to the line

sorry Greasemonky, i was talking about the smaller 1.4/1.6 engines as far as getting 200+ Bhp from them not a 2ltr i know the 2lre engine will take plenty of tuning and be fine
