Is one for sale locally, looks very tidy, M-reg,has Full service history, but has 117,000 miles on it, but is well looked after and belonged to a semi-farmer-half-rich man and wife as a second car so is totally standard.

drove a mk3 golf before, was a 1.3CL i think, was very basic, and i can remember handling being horrid? are they all bad?

isn't great for 2.8 only 174bhp, thats why i wonder what mods can be done to unleash a bit more power
