Right whilst looking to solve the idle problem, i found out that the 1st injector (on the left as you look at it) is tilted at 45degrees compared to the rest of the injectors. COuld this be causing the problems i have had???
how do i go about re-aligning it???

i very much doubt thats the problem. u can turn the injectors right round if u wanted as the loom allows u to do that

It was fine when I had it - as you saw for yourself
Something must have got knocked or something when it got fitted?

leak from the velos. the hose from air filter to trottle body. any vaccum pipes maybe map sensor. or inlet manifold to head but i doubt that or where the egr was blocked up on manifold
