aaaargh, can anyone shed some light on a problem i have please

, ive just had a 2.5 v6 put in my corsa c, the problem is the car is flat spotting between 2500 revs and 5000 revs then the power kicks in by which time your running out of revs!!!! if you reset the ecu for about 20 seconds it goes perfect then its as if its going in to limp mode!!! does anyone know if its poss to read fault codes without a diagnostic plug

Found it!

the paper clip trick is just using a paper clip to short out two of the pins in the multiplug next to the fuses to put the ecu into diagnostic mode, this then makes the engine management light flash in a sequence acording to the fault code.........

wat they do to wire it up then as corsa C's aint the easiest?

it doesn't look to bad now its all done , the car is running now. the wiring was really hard to crack we had to make a crank sensor to fit onto the crank pulley so that would pick a feed for the power steering which also control the rev counter. unfortunately there is no way other way to do it , so it get to run 2 ecu's

i believe it is the first i tried to get it in total vauxhall but they didn't seem interested in it irang up in december and i still haven't anything yet
