F00k me that is a quality price new or pre reg!!!
I think they are very very nice, ok they aint the clio cup, type r beater but they were not designed to be. They are good handling cars with good performance, good looks and decent running costs. People will have to wait for the Fiesta RS if they want sub 7.5 sec to 60 performance..

ST150 will be a very nice all round package. Low factory bhp should be an indication of tuning potential.
ST150 will take away any last hope Vauxhall had of making a sporty Corsa C a success.

ST150 handle like shat according to Reports.
There will never be a Sporty Corsa C - the Corsa D is the one to wait for.

shame though...Ford have slowly been ging down hill from the legendery days of the 80s-90s with the XR3i's RS Turbos, Sierra 3 dr cossies and the escort cossie.
Supose it must be down to not being able to mass produce a reasonably priced hot hatch like the RST was back in the day. The RS focus was a flop due to the 20K price tag more than anything.

About two weeks ago was in Autocar
They lost money on the Focus and would need to build the fiesta RS in big numbers to break even which they are not prepared to do

LOST MONEY ON THE FOCUS? its been practically no.1 best selling car each month since it was released in 1998!
Or you talking about the new focus? how can you say they are losing money on the new focus it was only released this month?

On about the RS Focus
They had to widen the track of the production line to build it hence stop production of the normal focus.
Also the robots couldn't handle the Recaro seats hence the RS was buily with normal focus seats with guys at the end of the production line taking out the seats and replacing them with recaro

and when i say lost money I mean only on the RS. ie it cost more to make the RS than the 20k price tag for all 4400

I read it in the press at the end of last year. They couldn't make enough money on the RS.
http://www.rs-ford.co.uk/fiesta-rs.htm
However they're still promoting with the concept.

ST150 won't be hardcore, but it's a welcome addition to the hot hatch market (ignoring the super hatches like the Focus, Astra, Golf, Breadvan, etc).
