do they just bolt on or do you need to FIND brackets for them... and do ya still get a spongy pedal?

i have goodridge ones on my v6 brakes at the momment... they feel spongy.... granted i could probably bleed them a bit more though...
dont get me wrong they stop ya in a heart beat but i'd just prefare the bite at the top instead of half way down the pedal....

Surely spongeyness is down to the size of the master cylinder and has little to do with braided hoses?

^ yeh but braided hoses help.... instead of the fluid expanding the rubber pipe it gives more force to expanding the piston on the caliper....

stu i dont think reyland do them for the scooby mate,
best bit is going for aps on a scooby or brembos as these are designed for vauxhalls, corsas, novas astras etc really mate!

Yeah, been all over the show looking to be honest! AP and Brembo are mega money! Trying to source a set of the OE equiptment upgrades second hand at the mo, the 330mm Prodrive Alcons.
Cant warrant paying £1400+ for brakes on a car that only does 2000 miles a year!

yesh, there the ones you want, well to be honest you get what you pay for,
better brakes means faster driving, more balanced, better lap times!
Im going for what i can really afford at the top of my budget

I had braided lines on my GSI with V6 brakes they still felt spongey even after having them profesionally bled with a pressurised system, it is the master cylinder that lets ya down, as the standard brakes on my Pug 306 are better than my V6 ones were

i done my driving test in a scoda fabia the other day and TBH the brakes were better in that than my v6 ones i was only traveling at 30MPH for most of it though........
