are they all 1.8's?

naw. 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0. and 1.9d

newer ones have up to a 3.2!

i mean are all the S3's turbocharged 1.8

i always thought they a 2.0

very nice cars those... i really want one..

the 1.8 20v T (i think thats what they are) engines can go up to 400bhp fairly easily and cheaply

just one chip does a world of BHP

Standard 1.8T is 150bhp and front wheel drive.
Standard S3 is a 1.8 turbo engine with 225bhp and 4 wheel drive.

You can get a 1.6, but I've been advised to steer clear as they're too slow/heavy.

You can also get a 1.8T or 2.0T.

Lovely cars, second to none with reliability and build, the new shape is top too

Are you looking at an S3, or an A3. The S3 is the sports version, 1.8T and 4WD IIRC

I've driven the 1.8T sport, S3, and the new S3 with 3.2 engine

S3's are going for £10-15k now

not looked into the lower specs, but if they say £7-8k, then thats £7k spare could fo a lot to it with that i guess

Yeah get a quote, i really wanted a TT too but insurance was even worse.

been driving around a TT 125bhp around for the past 2 weeks, its soo nice, i dont want to give it back.

Audi are great cars, very solid, and nice to drive

my dad has always liked audi's and he had a few, very mechanically sound cars, well built, and love the styling.

neighbours is always coming home in some nice audi's too
