awww....










had a few bits n bobs..... done... way too lumpy cams, idled at 1020rpm, still pulled liek a turd at rev limiter

it was ace and sounded rough as fuck

What cams you going for in your rebuild (c20xe) ? Whats the biggest duration you can get away with without having to do a lot of head work for them to clear etc??

it was at crail heaps....

The cams in the 2.1 are 282's.... the max i can get away with on hyraulic lifters.... but still spent 1k uprating the valve gear to take them

Ouch. Bet the cams werent cheap either. U got an exhaust manifold to go on? SBD? Sourcing an xe for my conversion just now and thinking of getting cams and an exhaust manifold put in/on at the same time as the conversion. What cams can you get away with without any head work? 270ish?

Thought x14xe's were 89/90bhp standard?
8v's were 80bhp.
