cant do looney things in them , they were designed to take the kids to school and a small family saloon.

Ive necer seen one beeing driven buy a young guy that is in it for the driving experiance , all seem to be old guys or women taking the kids to school

Whaaaaaat?

Im 25, Ive got a 2 door impreza (dont you need 4 doors for dropping the kids off?) running 321bhp with some light engine mods, only other mods are Bridgestone Potenza RE070 Tyres and 335mm brakes! The car is used for weekend thrashing and track days only, so does about 2500 hard miles a year. Trust me, if you see my car out on the road you'd do well to stay in the same postcode!

What power is your car rolling roaded at (not interested in what you estimate) cos I reckon the chances are Id have you in a straight line as well, especially from the launch!

If not Id just follow the oil!

corners are not one of the cars current strong points in the wether conditions we currently have.

Car has not been dyno'd waiting on the MRC day as not paying £80 for a figure. But the tuners Data logic susspects about 360Bhp but its not just about the bhp torque is the key factor.

Launch, i dont doubt you would have me , however after the launch im sure i will pass you

Oil what oil?? do not question the rotary engine when you know nothing about them.

1) Honestly - Thats a shock!
2) Not interested in guesswork to be honest pal!
3) My car currently has 299lb/ft of torque which I think is a good figure for the BHP it produces.
4) I would think after Ive made 4 car lengths off the launch, even if you do have a "guessed" 39bhp more than me I still think you'd struggle, especially in the "wether" conditions we have!
5) I will admit that I dont know nowhere near as much about Wankel engines as I do about conventional engines, but I do know pure oil is sprayed on the tips to stop them from wearing as quickly. Where do you think this oil goes? Its funny how they need topping up with oil on every two to three tanks of fuel?

1) you get a big power RWD car and live in the countryside , lests see how well you get round corners.
2) cant do no better
3) is a good figure
4) have had no issues before with scoobs and evos
5) i know what happens to the oil but it doesnt get spilt on the roads though does it? yes every 4 weeks oil needs flushing and replacing. i do know these things.

Been there and done it matey, the car before the P1 was a 349bhp Nissan 200sx S14a probably very similar power to weight etc as your RX. I agree 100% with what you said about the weather in this country, thats why I sold it. It was a complete waste of time, I couldnt keep in a straight line unless it was 100% dry!

I like the RX7 personally, its different, looks well, is fast etc etc. I just thought you needed bringing down a peg or two after your initial Impreza comments and stereotyping!

What do you mean when you say you have had no issues before with Scoobs and Evos?

Hehe, sorry Set H!

Car is pretty standard really:

Engine: HKS exhaust from the turbo back (incl downpipe and de cat), STI panel filter, 3 port boost solenoid, Tek 3 remap with 2 psi boost increase, intercooler splitter, mapped on 98Ron Optimax and NF formula octane booster with 1ml added per litre of fuel

Brakes: 335mmx32mm Godspeed upgrades

Tyres: Bridgestone RE070's

Exterior: Clear indicators and STI rear lights

Interior: SECs engine monitor, Defi boost gauge, Knocklink, HKS turbo timer, Prodrive gearknob and STI pedals

Thats about it!

i wasnt stereotyping i was just sayin how they seem to have been brought buy lots of people that dont use them for what they were built for , familys have them and just use them for ferrying kids to school when they should use the turbo and all the gears and the 4wd ratehr than pottering around in them. Thats how it is round here the only time you see a scoob beeing thrashed is when you drive up the road to Combe , other than that its a rare site.
