Been thinking about moving into my own gaff for a wee while now and been to see a couple properties in last few months this below being the latest.

Last 3 windows on right - Ground floor could be mine hopefully soon

Thought you would all like to know

Its only 16 doors away from my mum n dads house right at the bottom of the street which is quite handy really

Ground floor is not the best idea. I've made that mistake and won't do again. Looking at saving a deposit on a £170,000 apartment Don't think it will happen though

Its got security entrance and that....double glazing.

Only things that are putting me off is its electric storage heating (bit more expensive to run) and parkings off street but may aswell be on street as the space is right next to that wall that runs down the front May try to blag a space round back if theres any free. Oh and you have to pay a facility fee/year for comunal cleaner/grounds keeper

A mate and I compared lecky bills the other day, his was £250 and mine was £90 His is all lecky where mine is Gas CH. Haven't had the Gas bill yet

DG does not mean it is secure. I have DG but you could still get in if you wanted too.

How much is the flat gonna cost? I'm really starting to look into buying a place. Paying £65 rent which is just a joke. It's a nice modern flat with all mod cons such as a garden and gardener, alarm etc.

Thats with a pretty hefty deposit those repayments.

Pointless renting longterm mate.....nothing to show for your money and just as expensive!!

Ah right 3 months....I was thinking it was a bit much - still is actually

How much deposit and how much is the flat? U2U me if you don't wanna post here. Something i need to think about.

All depends how you live. If you dry you cloths in a dryer all the time, have lecky heating -- cooker etc, leave the TV on 24/7 then your gonna get a bill that big.
